Series Expedition
Silicon Layer
A journey of discovery in three chapters: dive from a rainbow wafer through the wiring floors to a single switch that never touches, watch nets of switches become logic, follow one instruction on the beat of the clock, and come back up to the wafer.

1/3 · BeschikbaarTransistor
Dive from the wafer to a single transistor: an untouching gate bridges electrons into a channel, the switch never fully turns off, and so the gate has come to wrap the channel.
2/3 · BeschikbaarLogic Gate
Power-side and ground-side nets of switches become NOT and NAND, NAND alone builds any logic, and the answer waits for the carry wave.
3/3 · BeschikbaarDatapath
The clock copies settled answers into registers, an instruction that is just a number travels a town of blocks in five beats, and repetition by branching becomes computation.
